ABOUT THE PROGRAM
A Structured Path into Adolescence
Since LGMS started, the school began receiving inquiries from parents of children with ADD/ADHD and other developmental delays. It was during school year 2009–2010 that LGMS launched the T.E.A.C.H. Program to best suit the needs of children with different exceptionalities.
LGMS’ T.E.A.C.H. Program is committed to helping children with special needs by providing an individualized educational plan, a well-prepared environment, teaching procedures, and other interventions driven by love and compassion — so the child can become a life-long learner and achieve the greatest possible self-sufficiency and success in school and community. We believe in the philosophy of Dr. Montessori that the child is born with human potentials.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE
A Continuum of Support
Every child moves along this path at their own pace — from individualized instruction toward full participation in the regular classroom.
Full T.E.A.C.H. Program
Students receive special education and related services outside the regular classroom for 61% to 100% of the school day.
SPED Support
Special education and related services for part of the school day.
Partial Mainstreaming
Individualized instruction under the SPED teacher, with socialization with the regular class on minor subjects.
Full Mainstreaming
Students attend the regular classroom and are constantly monitored by the SPED team for further assessment.
