ABOUT THE PROGRAM
A Path Built for the Curious Mind
The Grade School is for children ages 6–12 years old. This is the age when they want to explore the universe through their imagination. The children work with impressionistic charts, timelines, classified nomenclature, real specimens of plants, animals, and minerals, and manipulative materials such as bead bars and puzzle maps.
Activities involve research and field trips outside the classroom. The program is divided into two cycles — each one building independence, structure, and academic depth as the child grows toward Junior High School.
First Cycle · Ages 6–9
Building the Free & Inquiring Mind
Children are guided to develop a free and inquiring mind across all areas of interest, forming the foundation for everything that follows.
Second Cycle · Ages 9-12
Structured for What Comes Next
The program becomes more structured, so that by the final year there is a clear approximation to the requirements of Junior High School.

A comprehensive, integrated curriculum that moves from the whole to its parts — from overview to detail.
Language, Math, Zoology, Botany, History & Geography
Presented in a sequence that moves from the whole to its parts. LGMS provides certification.
Balarila at Panitikan, Araling Panlipunan
All given in Filipino — plus art, music, physical education, practical arts, and values education.
The Language
Covers oral language, reading, writing, and grammar in a continuous, integrated sequence.
Geometry
From basic geometric ideas through similarity, congruency, area, the Pythagorean theorem, and volume.
Mathematics
Concrete materials — Stamp Game, Bead Frame, Checker Board, Division & Flat Bead Frames — build understanding before abstraction.
